Regarding the front-page article "APA Wins Grant to Develop More Psychiatrist Researchers" in the April 17 issue, the first sentence states that the "American Psychiatric Association was the first association to receive the NIDA Physician Scientist Development Program Award." In fact, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry received a similar award six months ago. Together, these two grants will be significant in increasing research in substance abuse.
