Task Force to Sponsor Roundtable, Workshop on Rural Psychiatry

APA's Corresponding Task Force will sponsor a roundtable on rural psychiatry issues at APA's 1998 annual meeting in Toronto. It will be held on Wednesday, June 3, from 8:30 a.m. to noon in Pier 9 on the convention level of the Westin Harbor Castle Hotel.

The task force will also sponsor the workshop "Changing Models of Rural Mental Health Care" on Thursday, June 4, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Oakville Room of the Crowne Plaza Hotel. All psychiatrists with a rural practice are invited to participate.

Psychiatrists practicing in rural settings are invited to complete a brief query on APA's Web site about concerns unique to such a practice. Click here to go to the questionnaire.
