Women Members' Activity Center

The Women Members' Activity Center will once again be a feature of APA's annual meeting. The Committee on Women, chaired by Deborah Cross, M.D., is planning several important events for the center, sponsored by the APA Office of Women's and Children's Affairs.

The Women Members' Activity Center will be a gathering place for women members of APA. It will be open Monday through Wednesday, June 1 to 3, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Two events successful at previous annual meetings will be continued: a session on taking the ABPN examinations and a luncheon for district branch Committee on Women members. Plans are also under way for a reception for the Women's Mentoring Network participants and potential participants, an opportunity to enroll in the Caucus of Women Psychiatrists, and a discussion about women psychiatrists in academia.

All women members of APA will be mailed additional information in April on the center's location and schedule of events.
