Early Career Issues
ECP Bulletin Board
- APA’s district branches welcome the participation of early career psychiatrists in their outreach and education efforts. Any ECP’s who want to be resources for public speaking engagements or patient education programs should contact their DB officers or the chair of the local public education or public affairs committee. You can also contact your ECP representative, who will put you in touch with the appropriate DB committee chair.
- Early career psychiatrist committees are now being formed. Please call your district branch office to find out how you can become involved and ensure that your opinions and ideas are heard. If you need additional information, please call or e-mail the ECP representative for your Area. A complete list of these representatives’ phone and fax numbers and e-mail addresses appear in the September 19 issue of Psychiatric News and are posted on APA’s Web site at www.psych.org.
- In the September 19 Psychiatric News, the e-mail address for Theresa Miskimen, M.D., Area 3 ECP representative and chair of the Committee of Area ECP Representatives, was incorrect. Her correct e-mail address is miskimtm@umdnj.edu.
