This holiday purchase will not only be welcomed by fortunate recipients but also benefit two good causes.
The APA Auxiliary is sponsoring the sale of its popular cookbook, The American Psychiatric Association Auxiliary Cookbook: 150 Years of Cooking and Caring, in time for holiday gift giving. It contains tasty and easy-to-prepare recipes for nearly every occasion, whether it’s a Sunday afternoon football party or an elegant candlelit dinner. The recipes were submitted by APA members and their spouses and carefully tested by the Auxiliary’s cookbook committee.
The Auxiliary will use a portion of the proceeds to support two charitable programs, the Elsa Barton Scholarship Fund and the Robert E. Jones Assistance Foundation.

It also can be purchased at the APA Auxiliary booth at APA’s 1997 Institute on Psychiatric Services, which is being held October 24 to 28 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.
