The columns written by our president, Dr. Harold Eist, are refreshing. He calls it like it is and exposes the emperor's new clothes. Physicians are too slow to recognize that, in the eyes of large corporations controlling health care and many of their executives, health care is a commodity and physicians are part of the labor pool to produce the commodity. They are to be exploited to the fullest extent possible, just as many industries exploited labor until curbed by unions and government regulations.
I thank Dr. Eist for peeling away the obscuring layers of propaganda and exposing the facts.
