Psychiatrists interested in taking the subspecialty recertification examination in geriatric psychiatry in March and April 2001 must get their applications to the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) by October 1. Those who miss that deadline can still apply as long as they do so by November 1 but they will have to forward a late application fee of $250.
