Institute Lectures Address Critical Issues in Patient Care

An impressive roster of lectures at next month's Institute on Psychiatric Services will address clinical, social, legal, and other issues pertinent to delivering mental health care in the new century.

The Scientific Program Committee of APA’s Institute on Psychiatric Services has organized a series of outstanding lectures and distinguished speakers for the meeting, which is being held October 25 to 29 at the Philadelphia Marriott.

Lecture topics range from APA President Daniel B. Borenstein’s theme, "Psychodynamic Psychotherapy," to addiction, violence, public health, complementary medicine, advocacy, managed care and access to care, international psychiatric issues, and psychiatric disorders.
